Our PRPRS cable gland with metric thread is made of polyamide 6, with a neoprene seal and an integrated O-ring at the base. It is designed for routing and sealing one or more pre-assembled RJ-45 cables, thanks to the pre-slit internal seal for easier installation.
These lamellar tightening cable glands are manufactured according to DIN EN 62444/50262. They include pre-moulded sealing rings on the support base acting as an O-ring. For optimal sealing, the use of a locknut and flat-section O-ring seal is recommended, sold separately. They are also UV resistant (F1 according to UL 746C).

· Operating temperature: -20°C / +80°C, with peaks up to +150°C
· Protection and flammability: IP 68 up to 5 bar, flame-retardant and self-extinguishing UL94-V2
For the temporary closure of cable glands, the DTPB plug can be used to provide protection against dust and water splashes during assembly, transport or when not in use.
