Our PRPAA cable gland is designed for installations requiring Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). Manufactured according to DIN EN 62444, it incorporates a lamellar contact clamp that provides a fast and reliable connection to shielded cables. Available with metric, PG and NPT threads.
The clamp, featuring flexible lamellas and a large contact surface, ensures a durable connection with the cable shielding braid without the need to fold it back, both on fully stripped and partially stripped cables.
· Material: nickel-plated brass, polyamide 6, copper alloy and chloroprene seal
· Operating temperature: -20°C to +100°C, with peaks up to +150°C
· Protection: IP66 / IP68 up to 5 bar, Type 1/4X/12/13 (UL 50E)
· Flammability: flame-retardant and self-extinguishing UL94-V2
Certifications: c-UL-us (UL 514B, CSA C22.2 No. 18.3-12 and 94.2-15), c-UR-us and DNV GL (EN 62444). For optimum sealing, a flat O-ring is recommended and sold separately. The NPT thread complies with ANSI B1.20.1.

For the temporary closure of cable glands, the DTPB plug can be used to provide protection against dust and water splashes during assembly, transport or when not in use.
