The LHSB female star knob, with a design similar to DIN 6336, is designed for firm, safe and ergonomic manual adjustment. Its 7-point star geometry provides an efficient lever effect, allowing medium/high tightening torques with less effort and without tools. It is manufactured in sizes from M4 to M16 and can be supplied in glossy, textured or Soft Touch finishes, depending on the reference.
Depending on the version, the knobs are made of glass fibre reinforced polyamide, phenol-formaldehyde FS 31 or unreinforced polyamide with a brass insert, all manufactured by injection moulding to ensure mechanical strength, lightness and durability. The overmoulded insert in zinc-plated steel guarantees reliable assembly and corrosion protection; special inserts are also available on request.
The LHSB Soft Touch version, also according to DIN 6336, is manufactured in 2 components: an inner body in PA6 and an overmoulding in thermoplastic rubber, providing a soft, non-slip and comfortable grip surface, especially suitable for prolonged use.
Thanks to its ergonomic design, versatility and strength, the LHSB knobs are ideal for industrial machinery, fastening systems, adjustment equipment, technical furniture, moving mechanisms and control panels, where precise and durable manual adjustment is required. In addition, this range is also available with a male thread in our LHST family.
Special versions available in other RAL colours, materials or thread sizes on request.
