Description and features

Our GPB threaded hexagonal spacer is designed for fastening, spacing and positioning plates, panels and components, maintaining a defined distance between the elements of an assembly. Its hexagonal body facilitates installation and removal using a tool and allows secure tightening during installation.

Unlike plastic spacers, its manufacture in nickel-plated brass, zinc-plated steel and stainless steel provides greater rigidity and mechanical strength, making it suitable for applications requiring a more robust and stable connection.

The GPB family has a male thread at one end and a female thread at the other. It is used in electrical and electronic equipment, PCB assembly, electrical cabinets, machinery and industrial assemblies.

· Materials: NPB (Nickel-plated brass), ZCS (Zinc-plated steel) and SS (Stainless steel)

Nickel-plated brass: commonly used in electronics and PCB applications due to its good dimensional accuracy and surface finish. Nickel plating improves protection against oxidation.
Zinc-plated steel: recommended when greater mechanical strength is required. Zinc plating provides surface protection against corrosion indoors or with low environmental exposure.
Stainless steel: suitable for humid conditions, outdoor use, frequent cleaning and demanding environments, thanks to its high corrosion resistance and durability.
Aluminium: a lightweight and corrosion-resistant option, suitable when weight reduction is required while maintaining good rigidity.
