The PRPRI multi-cable cable glands are available with Metric or PG thread, and are made of polyamide 6 with 25 % glass fiber, together with a TPE-S (styrenic thermoplastic elastomer) seal with Shore A 60 hardness. The design includes internal grooves to facilitate the assembly of the seal, which is equipped with anti-rotation ribs for improved retention.
The multi-cable seal has sealed holes on the underside that open automatically when the cables are inserted. This system allows IP68 sealing to be maintained even if not all holes are used.
Although the holes have a nominal diameter, it is possible to use cables with a slightly larger or smaller diameter, with a tolerance of ±15 %. However, the difference between the cable diameter and the hole diameter must not exceed 1 mm.
Available in light grey RAL 7035 / dark grey RAL 7001 / black RAL 9005.
Operating temperature: -25 °C to +120 °C
IP rating: IP68 (to ensure IP68 protection also at the machine edge, we recommend using an O-ring); see our PRP series.
On request, we offer the option to select the number and diameter of the holes.
