Our PRPRC cable gland is manufactured from polyamide 6 and features a PTFE membrane, chloroprene seal and NBR O-ring. It combines the functions of a cable gland and an air exchange element in a single product.
Manufactured according to DIN EN 62444/50262, it includes lateral micro-holes for ventilation and heat dissipation. The hydrophobic and oleophobic PTFE membrane ensures effective pressure equalisation and continuous air exchange, helping to prevent moisture and condensation, limiting temperature increase inside equipment and reducing corrosion risk. Membrane performance remains unchanged regardless of cable diameter or cable twisting. Available in light grey RAL 7035, dark grey RAL 7001 and black RAL 9005, all UV-resistant (F1 according to UL 746C).

For the temporary closure of cable glands, the DTPB plug can be used to provide protection against dust and water splashes during assembly, transport or when not in use.
