Wide-base lamellar cable gland, UL94-V0 PRPRO

Description and features

Our PRPRO cable gland, with a lamellar clamping system and manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 62444 / DIN EN 50262 / DIN EN 60423, features a widened base with an O-ring seat that ensures optimum sealing even on uneven surfaces. During installation, the entire base contacts the surface, compressing the O-ring to provide secure fixing and a high degree of protection against water and dust ingress, achieving up to IP69. In addition, the base geometry facilitates precise installation even in holes with slight deviations from the thread diameter.

Its design provides high mechanical performance and excellent strain relief and sealing properties, in accordance with the tests established in IEC 62444, making it suitable for demanding applications.

Manufactured from PA6 (Polyamide 6) with an O-ring and inner seal made of Chloroprene (CR), it is available in Light Grey (RAL 7035), Dark Grey (RAL 7001) and Black (RAL 9005), all UV-resistant with F1 classification according to UL 746C. Optionally, it is also available with an O-ring and inner seal in NBR, particularly suitable for applications where oils are present.

The DTPB plug can be used for provisional closure of the cable gland, providing protection against dust and water splashes during assembly, transport or when not in use.
