Our PRPRO cable gland, featuring a lamellar sealing system and manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 62444 / DIN EN 50262 / DIN EN 60423, incorporates an enlarged base with an O-ring seat to ensure optimum sealing, even on uneven surfaces. During installation, the entire base contacts the mounting surface, compressing the O-ring to provide secure fastening and excellent protection against water and dust ingress, achieving ratings up to IP69. The enlarged base also allows precise installation even when mounting holes slightly differ from the thread diameter.
Manufactured from PA6 (Polyamide 6) with CR (chloroprene) sealing elements, it is available in Light Grey (RAL 7035), Dark Grey (RAL 7001) and Black (RAL 9005), all UV-resistant according to UL 746C F1. An optional version with NBR seals is also available for applications requiring enhanced oil resistance.

For the temporary closure of cable glands, the DTPB plug can be used to provide protection against dust and water splashes during assembly, transport or when not in use.
